It is time to CATCH UP! I have been a sporadic blogger. Sometimes--something has got to go--and when I find I have too much on my plate; it is the blogging that is put on the bottom of the list. Posting or visiting and leaving comments--I just haven't had much time for either lately.
I feel really bad because in the past couple months, two sweet bloggers have bestowed upon me the Liebster Blog Award and I haven't done my part in accepting.
The origins of the Liebster Blog Award are somewhat unclear; "liebster" means favorite or dearest. It is passed to bloggers with less than 200 followers to help showcase their blog. I was thrilled, humbled and honored that these two people chose me as a "favorite" to showcase and give the Liebster Award to!
Who are these sweet people who honored me? First, I got the award from Michelle at Scraposition. I love her style of card making and layouts. I have recently become a follower of her blog.
Second, I was nominated by Becky at Scrappin' Becky B. I have been a follower of Becky's for quite some time now, and am proud to call her a blogging friend! Her blog is full of crafts, recipes, and inspiration.
Now, upon receiving the Liebster Award, I am to pass it along to five of my favorite bloggers who have 200 or fewer followers.....so in no particular order they are:
1. Joelle at Scrapbook Snippets
2. Angie at A Scrappers Crazy Life
3. Christina at A Little Bit of Everything
4. Marg at I Didn't Have Potatoes
5. Eileen at The Scrapping Actuary
Thank you Michelle and Becky for awarding the Liebster Award to my blog. That anyone should find my blog, let along call it a favorite means so much.

Fun with Dotty For You
I was in a real hurry when I made this first card--it is kind of plain, but the paper is so bright, it just makes the card! (horrible quality on the pictures, sorry about that)
I've seen this card all over Pinterest and I cased it from the talented CTMH Consultant Melissa Laverty. You can see her card here, she also gives a link on how to make the sunburst.
I had a workshop Wednesday night--that was tons of fun I might add--and about an hour before people were to come I came up with this idea to hold some colorful Twizzlers! It made for a cute centerpiece on the work table!
I have another card prepared with the Dotty For You paperpack--that one will be shown May 1st for the Scrap It Girl May challenge!
Find out how to get this fun paper pack here!
Thanks for looking in today.
Have a crafty, fun day!

Finished Calendar Journal Pages
I told you way back in January that I would show you my Calendar Journal pages when I finished them. Take a look at this post to see the explanation of what I am doing and January's page before it was filled in.
So here is January, February and March.
Preparing the background for each month has been so much fun. I use ink, acrylic paint, sprays, water color crayons and stamps to create the colorful background.
Thank you for looking in today.
Hope your day is full of color!

April Challenge for Scrap It Girl
This month's challenge is hosted by Design Team member, Rina. She is a Creative Memories consultant and since she is hosting this month's challenge, the challenge is to "use your Creative Memories Products." Don't have any Creative Memories products? Order some from Rina here, so you can play in the challenge this month.
OK- ya'll know I'm a Close to My Heart gal! I was browsing Rina's site--and saw something I had! I bought the Circle and Oval Cutting System eons ago! So it looked like I was going to create a layout that included circles!
The double scalloped border was created by cutting circles in half!
A 5"x7" photo is being developed for the matte on the left.
Oh so nice to get pictures from 2006 scrapped!!
And now--check out the great prize Rina is giving away!
